As many of you know our very own Brandi is due to have a baby any day now. I had a lot of fun putting together a sweet little baby sprinkle for her along with some other friends in our industry. A woodland theme was one of the options tossed around for the new baby’s nursery but didn’t end up being the final choice so I was so excited to snag it for our fun baby sprinkle theme! After settling on the theme I spent a few days thinking on the perfect spot to host the event. A park, a...

When Krystal and I first met I was so excited to hear about the vision for their wedding day! She told me the most beautiful details about her tulle gown, the subtle use of pink, the sweets table, and of course their reception being held at the Chrysler Museum. This was our team’s first wedding at the Chrysler Museum since they reopened following their remodeling and we were all pretty darn excited about having a live orchid wall as the backdrop to the cake! First things first though. Krystal and John were married at the First Presbyterian Church in Norfolk and was it ever a...

Back in May our team had the opportunity to bring Heather’s dream wedding to fruition. If there is one thing to be said about Heather it’s that she was one fun and sassy bride. We spent months putting together the perfect details for her using a black, white, and gray palette, pearls, and bows, only to be completed with bringing the feeling of the outdoors inside. It was just phenomenal!! Amanda Hedgepeth captured every detail of the day perfectly! Both the ceremony and the reception took place at the Virginia Beach Convention Center. The ceremony was intimately lit by Stage Right Lighting...

Nearly a year ago we had the privilege of being a part of Ashley and Brian’s beautiful wedding day at the Hermitage Museum and Gardens in Norfolk, Virginia. My first impression of these two was how young and in love they were and it was obvious in the way they looked at each other, the way they talked to one another, and the way that they always valued the other’s opinion when it came time to make a decision. They had planned for their special day to take place at one of our favorite wedding venues in Hampton Roads, The...
