Courtney and Matt were married on July 7, 2012 and the As You Wish team was so excited to be a part of it!  They held their wedding ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norfolk, Virginia.  And what a beautiful catholic church it was!

Palette of Petals provided the floral arrangements for Courtney, and they really did an amazing job!  Courtney chose black bridesmaid dresses, with purple and green bouquets for the girls

The bridesmaid bouquets included an arrangement of purple freesia, purple stock, purple hydrangea, green roses, green hypericum berries, purple lisianthus, and green fugi mums. The stems were tied with lemongrass green ribbon and accented with a band of purple rosette ribbon

Courtney’s bridal bouquet included a robust arrangement of Picasso Calla Lilies, cream hypericum berries, cream roses, cream stock, and hydrangea, with delicate drops of rhinestones placed throughout the blooms.  The stems were tied with a deep purple ribbon and adorned with rhinestone accents as well

Courtney and Matt’s reception was held at Hilton 31st at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront.  Guests enjoyed the ocean view from the ballroom as well as the musical talents of the local Hampton Roads band, Borderline Crazy

The tables were draped in black linens and accented with silver chiavari chairs and silver plate chargers.  Menu cards were delicately placed within a folded clover green napkin, and placed on top of each guests’ charger.  Favor boxes were then placed at each place setting

Palette of Petals created an assortment of beautiful centerpieces to adorn the tables.  We love the look of these floating gel candles in the cylinder vases

The lighted base really lights up the submerged tulip centerpieces

Emily Patti of Patti Cakes created a beautiful wedding cake, and fun football themed groom’s cake for the couple
