Now that summer is leaving us and we’re all gearing up for the approaching fall season we thought it would be a great time to share one of our weddings from last year with you! Amanda and Cory were married at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Chesapeake, Virginia.
For the attire they chose a beautiful color palette with a range of purples, blues, and greens and found the most adorable flower girl dress to tie it all together!
They then added in some bright tropical flowers that really just made everything pop!
They hosted their reception at MOCA in Virginia Beach, which is a venue that we just love! The room was filled with bright vivid colors and beautiful tropical flowers.
Guests were treated to the sounds of a steel pan drum prior to the DJ taking over for the evening. If you haven’t experienced a steel pan drummer before, you need to! It definitely brought the feel of the Caribbean to the MOCA!
So of course, it was only fitting for the guests’ table names to be included in the theme.
Here are a few more of our favorite shots from the day
Special thanks to Carl Anderson with Hampton Roads Photography for the images! And happy almost 1 year anniversary to Cory and Amanda!
